Although textbooks can be placed on reserve for students' use for the duration of a semester, our only option is for them to be checked out for a 2 hour block of time to be used in the library. That is the only loan period available for reserve items. Unfortunately, there is no way for students to be able to check out a book for an entire semester, as only faculty and staff have that privilege for normal circulating materials.
Should you find the two hour loan period adequate for the students needs, please visit the library's Course Reserves Page for more information on how to request this.
