The Montgomery College Rockville Campus library renovations are underway! The library in Macklin Tower (MT) is now closed. The temporary library space in the Academic Annex (CB) building will open in spring 2026. Learn more on the Rockville Library Renovations page. The project is expected to be complete and the library in MT re-opened in spring 2028.

From December 22, 2025 to spring 2026, there will be no library open on the Rockville Campus. During this time, as always, you can access library resources and services like electronic books, articles, and videos, as well as our 24/7 librarian chat service, on our website. After the winter break, you may also visit our other library locations on the Germantown Campus, Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, and East County Education Center. Please visit our website to check the winter session hours before visiting. If you need a computer or study space on the Rockville Campus during the library's closure, please visit the Digital Learning Center (HU 307), Ackerman Learning Center (SW 109), or Writing, Reading, and Language Learning Center (MT 002 & 020). Visit their websites for more information.
