Q. Can I put department-bought textbooks on reserve for students to take out for the whole semester?

Although textbooks can be placed on reserve for students' use for the duration of a semester, our only option is for them to be checked out for a 2 hour block of time to be used in the library.  That is the only loan period available for reserve items. Unfortunately, there is no way for students to be able to check out a book for an entire semester, as only faculty and staff have that privilege for normal circulating materials.
