Professors often include the citation style they want their students to use in the assignment description. If the citation style is not stated in the assignment description, then ask your professor.
Most papers at Montgomery College are cited in either APA or MLA style. The library's Cite Sources guide can help you cite in those and additional styles. Select the tab located toward the top of the page that corresponds to the citation style needed for your assignment.
