As of 2022, Montgomery College Library has eliminated fines for open-shelf books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks. Users who incurred fines before May 23, 2022, are still responsible for payment.
Users are still charged fines for some high-demand or high-value items, such as overdue course reserves, overdue laptops and tablets, and late check outs from study spaces.
