Community Patrons

The MC Library is open to the public and you are welcome to use our facilities.  The policies for non-students are:

Borrowing Materials
You will need a valid library card from Montgomery College. We do not accept Montgomery County Public Library cards or cards issued by other colleges. Residents of Maryland or of the District of Columbia who are of 18 years of age or older are eligible. To obtain a card, you must present proper identification such as a driver's license at the service desk in the library. Library card holders are responsible for all library materials borrowed with their library card.  You will also need this card to use the library bar code number for login to the computers.  Community Patrons have a maximum of 2 hours of computer access per each 24 hour period.

Community users may borrow a total of 5 circulating items (reference materials, magazines, journals, newspapers and most videos do not circulate) of any type.
