Yes, the library does subscribe to streaming video databases. Users can access RaptorSearch OR the A-Z List of Databases to find streaming videos.

Using RaptorSearch

  1. Locate RaptorSearch
  2. Type in keywords in the search box and run the search
  3. Use the "Refine Results" column and select "Limit to" > "Available Online"
  4. Use the "Refine Results" column and select "Source Type" > Video
  5. The search results list will have titles of videos available online

Using the A-Z List of Databases

  1. Go to the A-Z List of Databases
  2. At the top of the page locate the box "All Database Types"
  3. Using the drop-down menu, select "Streaming Video"
  4. Select a database to search by reading over the database descriptions

Current MC students, faculty, and employees

  • Can access these resources from off campus. If you are accessing databases from off campus, you will be prompted to login with your M number beginning with and including the M and all of the numbers.

Community users

  • Are welcome to access streaming videos by visiting a campus library.
