To borrow a book from the MC Libraries, you will need to search the item in the MC Library Online catalog.  The catalog will inform you which library (Rockville, Germantown, or Takoma Park/Silver Spring) has the book available.  Using the call number listed on the record, you will find the book on the shelf at that call number location, bring it to the circulation desk, and using your student i.d., check the book out.  If you have trouble locating the book, as the Librarian at the reference desk.

  • Students may borrow a total of 20 circulating items.
  • Faculty and staff may borrow a total of 20 circulating items.
  • Community and Alumni users may borrow a total of 5 circulating items.
