Q

Do I have to cite a time stamp for a movie?

I am wondering if I have to point out the exact moment in the movie for quotes?

Answer

Hi, your question does not specify what citation style you are using, so I cannot be specific to that.  However, I checked with several styles, and none of them listed using an exact time stamp, so it seems that it is probably not necessary to be that specific in your in text citations.
