Answer

Each campus library provides group study rooms that allow groups to collaborate in an enclosed environment, to minimize the impact on other students. Group study rooms are only available for MC students and faculty.

The number of rooms per campus library is:

Germantown Campus Library - 2 group study rooms

Rockville Campus Library - 2 group study rooms

Takoma Park/Silver Spring - 5 group study rooms

Cafritz does not have a study room.

Each room accomodates a different number of students. To find out more about group study rooms, please visit: http://libguides.montgomerycollege.edu/studyspaces, http://cms.montgomerycollege.edu/EDU/Sub2.aspx?id=92031 and http://cms.montgomerycollege.edu/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=76560

*PLEASE NOTE: Reservations are made for a maximum of 2 hours per day. If the Group Study Room key is returned late a fine of $2.00 per hour, maximum $8.00 will be charged.
