How long can I keep a book? How do I renew library books, videos, & CD's?
Books circulate for 3 weeks. If no one else has requested them, books may be renewed in person, with your photo ID, or online as long as they are not already due and there are no outstanding fines or fees.
Circulating videos, audiocassettes and CD's may be borrowed for 3 weeks; non-circulating videos must be viewed in the library. Ask at the Circulation desk for these videos.
Journals and Magazines do not circulate. The libraries subscribe to approximately 1,056 titles in print and/or microform (Rockville only for microfilm).
Faculty can check out books for a whole semester. Non-print materials can be checked out for 21 days (three weeks) and instructional non-print materials for 7 days (one week).
Books: Books may be borrowed for up to 3 weeks.
